Our Filament Silk has all been reeled from the cocoon in the UK by Pearsall’s Silks when they operated their silk mill in Taunton. Our Superfine Gossamer is supplied on 50m (54yd) spools and is 100denier.
This silk is beautifully smooth with an attractive lustre that really shines through in the dark bright shades in our range.
In addition to our Superfine Gossamer, we also have stock of Pearsall’s ‘Tag and Body Floss’ in original packaging for fishing fly and rod makers. We also stock the Superfine Silk colours supplied by Langley Threads for Mike Harding’s ‘North Country Flies’ book.
