Our latest dye vessel is not new, it is quite ancient, but it is perfect for dyeing silk.

We have restored it and also modernised it by adding inverter control to the pump so it can begin its new life here in West Yorkshire dyeing filament silk.

The vessel has a sloped base that directs the flow dropping from the skeins towards the pump’s inlet. this gives the low liquor that is ideal for dyeing filament silk.

A new lease of life for a venerable piece of specialised equipment.
